I’ve small hands and find it difficult to open the dirt collector. Have to sit down and do it with two hands. The unit is simple to hold and not too noisy. This really is an OK vacuum. A bit costly but I would most likely buy it again for the convenience and the long-life battery. I also have the standup model and also the batteries interchange.

Yes, the cyclonic action from the cup on this vac has a lot to complete with how nicely it functions. But you need power to make that occur, and you need a manly battery to get that kind of energy. There is NO cordless hand vac, anywhere, that may do what this point does. I’ve utilized a corded hand vac in the garage for years. It has the power to complete what vacs are supposed to do. Dust Busters have in no way been anything but inexpensive garbage until this point came along.

This vacuum has good suction and battery running time for that jobs it was created to complete. Best hand vac I’ve had to date. The Lithium battery holds charge much better than the NiCad or NiHidride kinds. This is a well built machine. The battery comes out for charging in a stand alone charger, so if the battery goes dead in several many years it can readily be replaced.
